MLSKenya.com is Kenya’s first Multiple Listing Service (MLS), a centralized database where licensed real estate agents, banks, property developers, and auctioneers can list properties for sale or rent. It maximizes property exposure by allowing agents to co-market listings, increasing the chances of faster and more competitive sales.
MLSKenya.com is available across Kenya.
Yes! Banks can list distressed properties for sale, making them available to 300+ agents for co-marketing. Similarly, property developers can list projects and grant commissions to agents who secure buyers.
Listing your property is a simple four-step process:
1. Sign up as a verified agent, developer, bank, or auctioneer.
2. Fill in property details (location, price, images, etc.).
3. Upload up to 50 high-quality photos to attract potential buyers.
4. Submit the listing fee, if applicable.
Once approved, your property will be live within 24 hours.
We list all types of residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and special purpose properties across the following categories:
- Public Listings: Viewable by everyone, including buyers.
- Member-Only Listings: Exclusive to MLSKenya.com agents.
- Bank Listings: Properties from financial institutions (e.g., distressed sales).
- Auction Listings: Upcoming auction properties listed by licensed auctioneers.
Listings remain active for up to 2 years, and you can cancel the listing anytime upon successful sale or if you no longer need to have it on the platform.
You can upload up to 10 photos. We recommend using high-resolution images to enhance your listing’s appeal.
You have the ability to choose whether only registered estate agents can see your contact details, or whether your details will be public.
If you sell your property without the involvement of another MLS agent, you don’t pay any commission! You retain full control over your sale.
If another agent brings a buyer, they will receive the commission agreed upon in the listing agreement. There is no commission paid to MLSKenya.com — you only pay the agreed co-agent commission.
Buyer-side agents can use the 'Make an Offer' feature to submit bids. Sellers can:
- Accept the offer.
- Negotiate with a counteroffer.
- Decline the offer.
All negotiations are tracked in your dashboard message trail for easy reference.
Yes! Agents can use the 'Request a Property' feature to describe what they are looking for. Other MLSKenya.com verified members will then respond with matching listings.
